Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, most companies have shifted their offline businesses online which include recruitment processes from in-person interviews to video interviews.    With the new batch of fresh graduates expecting to enter the workplace this year, the COVID-19 pandemic has complicated the recruitment process. The impact of the outbreak has already accelerated many of the digital and technology trends globally.  Now, the traditional recruitment industry is being disrupted as the world grapples with rising unemployment.

To overcome this challenge, many businesses have turned to online recruitment platforms and adapted to video interviews where it saves time and improves recruitment efficiency.  Offline recruitment will still exist for some time, but the pandemic has certainly accelerated this trend of online recruitment to the cloud and video job interviews as it becomes the "New Normal".
